This book was very helpful I bought a week before I take my TQT1 test and read it about couple of times. When I took the real test I passed it so I rate the book very useful and I recommend people to take advantage of it

not really current to at&t's tqt test

i read most of this book twice. (skipped some of the electrical stuff)
most of the questions in the book dont really apply to a normal modern telephone job.
questions about satellites and dial up modems ??
very few questions i read in this book were on the test i took in 2014.
on the other hand...
i passed the test....

Jack Rudman The Author Needs to Take This Exam

I took the exam twice. Passed both times. First time I didn't know what to expect nor was I prepared. Yet I passed with a decent rating. This time I wanted to be prepared and got this book. The concepts are somewhat similar but the math is completely off. In this book it's not about the answer, but the method you took to get the answer which is ridiculous since a lot of it I can do in my head but I would still be wrong because of the assbackwards way he does the math. If you're 30 or over, you did math a much different way so it is unfair. But don't worry, the real tests asks you + - / and x. But be prepared to multiply fractions and make sure the clock is visible as I thought they took it away and missed a few questions. I'll give a hint on the box section or visual section. Just because you can't see a hole in the box doesn't mean it's still not there. Only thing that is really on the test that is in this book is the directional section. The book is suburbs, test is the city roadway lol. Take your time and good luck.
