Telling it like it is!

If you want to get to the meat of where numbers on birth outcomes truly originate, this scholarly work tells the crux of the story in the voices of women and their midwives. Many studies on what women want and what they are "given" have been done. This book not only attempts to describe the conclusions of those studies but, in keeping with its subtitle "science and sensitivity in practice", the authors of this work share the story and information in actual thoughts and feelings of the participants to elucidate the conclusions of the studies.
